Hi
I have a small site about Ardnamurchan in Scotland, it's been up now for about 6 weeks. When I type Ardnamurchan in MSN search the site appears at the top of page one, is this "for real" or am I doing something wrong and so getting a false reading. On google I come about half way down the second page, but Yahoo hasn't even indexed my site yet. Any ideas anybody?

Thanks,
Graham.

Yes, You are :-)

But it's a lot easier to get at the top of MSN than Google.

Well set your preferences to 20 results per page on Google, then technically you're on page one! Ah, j/k, I do that sometimes to make myself feel better about a couple sites I have. Crank it up to 100 results for some newer keywords, lol. Page one, yay!

Personally, I really think MSN's algo is a winner, good quality SE from a relevancy standpoint. I'm surprised its user base isn't growing at a faster pace, but probably will in the Fall.

At the moment I'm seeing you at 4 on MSN, but that's still a great place to be. Congratulations on your placement in MSN. Best wishes to traffic success!

By the way, welcome grahamo and bokevoll!

LMAO I have actually never thought about doing that, I wonder if that would work with a client? you know crank it up and take a screen shot... What? I SAID I'd get you on the first page! :)) LMGDAO!
