Hi all
Just a few questions when selecting keywords:
For instance 'accommodation'. Is there relevance in using 'accom, accomm, acom' as part of your keyword list to cover different spellings? I've seen this used and was wondering about that.
Further what is best practise, to use keyword phrases as in 'mytown acccommodation rates' or rather 'mytown, accommodation, rates'? As I understand it doesn't really matter? If it does, I'd like to know about it!
That's it for now!
Thanx

I usually list the keywords individually with commas.

As far as the mispelling goes, you can put in various mispelled words in your keywords, it may pickup a few hits. Remember ALL of your keywords, must also be listed in your copy on the page. Maybe at the bottom of the page give a little FYI sentence:
Regardless of how you spell 'accommodation' our company is here to serve you: acommodation, accomodation, accomadation, accommadation.

That's brilliant. I've got to try that on some of our hard to spell words, like "nail" and "screw". Hey, we could get some wrong traffic that way. ;-)
Seriously, that is an excellent way to incorporate those words.
Brian.

Hey
I like that idea, allthough I'd have to add a city name (for main 2-word phrase) to that and it would seem a bit over the top. I've actually seen SEO's make spelling mistakes on purpose. What does that say about proper copy? I cringe if I think that I'd have to make spelling mistakes on purpose just for more traffic, but hey, nobody's perfect, right? ;-) Just don't know what my client will say about our copywriting skills (until we explain the method to our madness)...
Thanx for the replies!
