www.google.co.uk - could not be found
www.google.nl - could not be found
That's bizarre..

GOOGLE is down! wow...
Maybe they lost all their data.. how great would that be! haha.

any guesses on how much this costs them every minute?
Someone must have kicked a plug out of the wall, this is why you run those "under the carpet".

thoasands could lead to millions!.... they where down for atleast 5 minutes then, now there back online without Images, News, Froogle and Local on .co.uk.
Would be intresting to see what google have to say!
Anyone got any ideas? All the lot went down so maybe DNS? I duno

There have been troubles since Thursday but this recent outage was the worst...
I guess it can happen to one an all at some stage ..... "shit happens" ;-)

I missed it but I'm reading everywhere that it was down today, now up again. Anyone know how long they were down for? A half hour? Seems adsense is having a lot of issues displaying as well.
Also a post over at wmw is saying they saw a hacked whois for goog.

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Googling stopped for 15 minutes on Saturday. The world's leading internet search engine shut down from 6:45 to 7 p.m. eastern time, according to Google spokesman David Krane.
"It was not a hacking or a security issue," said Krane. He said the problem was related to the DNS, or Domain Name System, though Krane did not elaborate. The DNS translates domain names for computers.
"Google's global properties were unavailable for a short period of time," Krane said. "We've remedied the problem and access to Google has been restored worldwide."

so the adsense stayed down for at least 15 minutes more after the site was back up, issue is we ended up with about 50% of the normal adsense revenue yesterday, any others see a oddly low figure for yesterday?
