As a joke I made the first worste practice guide to SEO. Please note this site is a joke. Being listed on Black Hat SEO is a generally negative distinction.

The goal of the site is for people to say...now thats bad stuff there!

I am also accepting user contributions if anyone has gotten ripped off by a foul deal

That could be a useful reference, so it'll be very interesting to see if the site is popular, whether it will be indexed. I'd guess it would be, so that would blow a hole in the therory about linking, or it should.

If a site is popular, it should be indexed, period. If Google or any other search is selectively determining sites and ranking according to their own likes and/or dislikes, then I'd call that censorship. Personally, I'd rather find a search engine that gives me relevant results.

I was talking to a friend last week about the search engines and what's been happening and she said, "I don't even look at the first page of results because it's all just ads anyway." She's not a web developer and she uses Google. Maybe we should ask more non-developers their ideas and opinions about what makes a good search engine.

Nice hat too, BTW.

This is great !!! I love it.

I went to your site and looked at one of your categories -- Cloaking Scripts. One entry so far in that category for ****** software. What was interesting in looking at this page was the fact that ****** software was also in one of your GoogleAds also....hehehe.

So can I do submissions to your site for one of the categories? I have one for your Link Popularity page. You have a couple of noteworthy candidates already, but there is one I would like to add.

Sounds like a good idea for another site. All too often you hear so many whinings of the site owners and developers....but in reality, what in the heck do they really know? They don't.

What would be better I think is a picture of an boy in class with a Dunce Cap on him, sitting on a stool in the corner all by himself. On the cap in big bold letters is SEO.

That hat is about as good as I can create art as I am not an artist. I wanted it to be big plain and offensive though...

Submissions are enabled and welcomed
