A very new .info site of mine www.webdesignarticles.info ranks number 7 for web design articles and is at number 8 for design articles. i thought that was pretty cool and wanted to share. Any other success stories?

My new site born on 1/23/05 has had some success
#9 for "Christmas gift baskets"
#15 for "corporate gift baskets"
#20 for "holiday gift baskets"
All with only 20 links, but some good authority links :). MSN has outindexed Google by leaps and bounds, therefore obviously perfer it right now over G. I rank as well a site with 5000 more links and 4 years older...go figure
One thing on the bad side...MSN is is highly suspect when it comes to irrelevant links in large quantities. I have seen it with my competition, gift basket links on www.firsttimefelon.com , I am sure they will tweak that.

yeah the site i mentioned only has 7 links on msn and none on google.

My site went from 200 to 7 then disappeared then came back and is stuck at number 58 or so. I can't figure out why the engine is not pulling my site back up to the teens at least. The really strange thing is that this site: www.teddyblingerie.com is ranked around 15 and has only a few backlinks, and is not optimized particularly. This has made me wonder what they are using to rank sites.

msn top ranking doesnt bring any traffic to the sites, i guess one needs to focus more on google.

I pulled a #3 for adhd bipolar (and yes, I do see some visitors from it)
Unfortunately, the site is munged at the moment, and it's going to be this weekend before I have time to get my articles posted back online

MSN has recently switched their algo to favor links again. About a couple weeks ago they had moved to more content and now back to links again.

It is even better in Yahoo; 2nd and 4th.
