Hi,
I'm in the process of building a wholesale directory and now i need a site search so people could search within my site for the wholesale website they need. I need a site search where just say i have google.com as a wholesale website somewhere in my site and i type google in my search box that a page with just the link of google.com and the description would show up and ofcourse my logo and other stuff i add on the top or around the page.
I've tried searching for site searches on google and elsewhere and they have to many ads, and not just that, they are more like search engines rather than what i need. I need something that only searches within my site and the ones i found will have a search results page of there own companys and have a little link of a page on my site with the link they want.
my website is www.wholesalespotter.com and i have published some of my work just to test it, and before i actually put it out for everyone to see i would like to finish it ofcourse and i need a site search. One website which i'm sort of making mine similar 2 is www.wholesaleroom.com. I want my site search to be exactly like theres, and when i asked them they said they made it themselves. so now i need someone to make me one 2.

Please email me if you would like to help me build one, and in the email please add all other issues including costs, etc. or PM me if you know of a website that would do this for me. You may also IM me on my aim sn.

Hi there,

I apologize for not getting back to your PM sooner...for some reason, I didn't get the alert when a new PM was added. I just discovered it by accident when I was looking for something else.

Anyway...I am interested, but I do have a couple of questions for you, to get a better idea of what I could build for you:

1) Would you be willing to move your host to another provider, one that supports Active Server Pages (ASP technology)? ASP is my language of choice.

2) Do you want just regular static pages with a search that encompasses the static pages, or what I would recommend; categorizing the information in a database, and having the search work for the database? With an admin, this tends to be easier to modify, and I've done this quite a bit in the past.

Please feel free to PM me back.
