Is citynews credible?

I just finished building www.theafricanstore.org and I am thinking of promoting it through www.citynews.com but I don't know if they will really bring traffic to the site.

Please, I need your suggestion on this.

If you have used them tell me your experience so far.

I have neither personally worked with them nor have I had clients that have. I do see they have decent page rank, and are indexed well.
This could mean a lot of traffic to your site if you go with them.

I'm not sold on Alexa, but it does seem to show better statistics for sites that have longevitiy on their side, and it appears citynews does:

No PopUps (BIG plus in my book)
