hi guys,

Where i will get sample dynamic data driven website or steps to create dynamic data driven website.

I am planning to design a portal of more than 150 pages. i also have the following queries.

1) Which is best asp/sql server or php/mysql?
2) how can i design the database for dynamic content manipulation
3) table design for dynamic menu
4) Excelent css tutorial for dynamic data driven website.
5) How i can maintain the content of the website.
6) How i can maintain the images of the website.

asp/sqlserver or php/mysql ?

You should use the language you are most proficient in, and select the database that is available on the server. There is probably little to choose between mysql and sql server, unless perhaps you are talking very high concurrent loads.

asp and php will connect to any type of sql database. Check what your planned hosting server supports.

I favour PHP. I recommend the PHP tutorials at Webmonkey. Start from the bottom. Make a simple PHP program like a card file. So you have a form to add data and a page to display data. Then just keep thinking about it really hard. Stay up till 3am in the morning for 3 or 4 months and it will all come to you.
