"I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness." - Alicia Silverstone

You've been looking at my signature! (Mariah Carey)

(Hmmmm, something similar between Alicia and Mariah..)

I'm not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb... and I also know that I'm not blonde. -Dolly Parton

Thanks, wen!

Actually (and this has been pointed out by wen herself before), if this place doesn't make you go "huh", then you're in the right place!

Now Mik that was deep. But... by the same respect it was light, in the same way it was deep. In fact it's lightness came from it's deepness, because it needs a light therein to see, cause it was so deep that there was no light!

On behalf of all of us, thank you for the enlightenment, Rocky. And try to remember to get out of the stream quickly during stormy weather, unless there is at least one fish in the vicnity taller than you, to avoid being struck by lightning.

And now, I must find some aspirin, quickly!

i think it's right up there with "OTTO"

The great depths of our lightness shines like a million blazing midnights.

Alicia is mine!

And it also wasn't light because it wasn't deep, it was so deep and light.

Minstrel, do you really think aspirin is strong enough for this job?

"No," he replied, in an uncharacteristically laconic manner, distracted as he was by that strange slithery-slurpy sound that seemed unlike anything he had ever heard and yet oddly familiar, much like a deja vu experience only this was clearly more like a jamais vu, which reminded him of all the times he so desperately wished to be invited to a jamais party but of course it never happened, and then, suddenly, without warning, it came to him - of course! that was it! it was sort of reminiscent of that old movie, The Blob, where this huge gob of Jello snuck around the town devouring promiscuous teenagers in convertibles, and then he found himself wondering, "whatever happened to The Blob, anyway? was it killed at the end of the movie or did it just escape into the Nebraska Hills, spawning the sequel, Dances-With-Jello?", but realized that at the moment he had greater worries than the end of a B-movie from the 50s or 60s or maybe 70s because, B-movie or not, the sound was getting closer and Mik was absolutely correct - this was going to take something a lot stronger than aspirin, and then, at the very moment his arm, seemingly on its own will power, reached toward the liquor cabinet, he found himself involuntarily screaming, "Huh?"...

I know! Don't you hate that? But try telling THAT to your wife when she gets home to find you passed out on the carpet, with the dog trying to bury you under cushions, blankets, etc.
Women just don't believe anything we tell them [:o)
By the way, careful on the screaming 'huh'. It's kinda hard on the old vocal cords.

As I woke from my coma, to find myself in a hospital bed, the memories started coming back. The last thing I remember was my wife screaming "HUH!!", and then the sight of a large iron frying pan approaching my skull...
