Hi Mik,

http://www.parascope.com/articles/0197/skull_01.htm

I don't have any doubts it was not made by a human being

Global this is serious. If man did not make it, then it must be the one featured in an episode of Startrek, you know the one - Spock say's to the Doctor 'Who's Skull is this?''Dunno'replied the Doctor, to which Spock replied 'Don't make me Cross Bones' For our fans who don't always catch our humor, this means Skull and Cross Bones.

Seriously folks, it must be ALIEN, so we call upon the Master of Earth Defence, the one, the only, I give you (well no-one would pay) Marcie Zoob

I do not thank we have ever been visited by extraterrestrials that left anything, nor especially interacted to were seen by anyone, ever.

Velikosvski and every clain about 'Chariots of the Gods', alien abductions, Roswell ad nauseum are at best dubious, at usual, claims made by imbeciles, and given credence by even greater imbeciles.

I used to be so sure we had visitors in the past. I had to debate in an english class and I was assigned the position to refute these claims (my opponent had to argue they were true). I discovered a whole world of lucid scepticism and scientific thought that laughs at 99% of this as obviously either impossible, badly misinterpreted, or downright deceiptful. Once you understand how much some people really know about how to interpret these things, and the scientific knowledge, and more importantly, common sense, they employ, it starts to become easy after a while to spot this stuff.

It does take some education, but understanding why this stuff is not taught in school, or given any credence in reputable communities, should make it clear why it remains 'fringe' and populated with halucinating yahoos who could convince themselves they were J.C. if that idea came to them.

Here are two links on the skull(s), I have been aware of them for twenty years. Also, check out sceptical Enquirer, Crank.net, and other critical thinking websites.

I want to implore that this psuedo science is a pox on society and in no way contributes anything remotely useful to our knowlede. It only makes it harder for people to tell what is the truth and to trust real science.

I was one of the fooled ones for a while, I am choked at how people pass this shaet off. I don't feel stupid for ever being duped, I just dislike being conned.

However, I did see ctubuk on the next floating table in that craft getting ball bearings implanted while I got probed. I am now pregnent with a Urchnoid from Cyphallus IV. :O)))

I almost forgot. ctabuk, what did you think of the four breasted babelatoid at the nav console? Ya, the one with four arms. She also had four legs. Yes, yes, so much to choose from there.

"Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple breasted whore of Eroticon 6, is universally famous as one of the best good times known to males. Part of her fame is due to a coffee cup being placed on a genetic engineer's plan prior to her birth. Gallumbits, an old inferno of Zaphod Beeblebrox, has been the centre of many wild rumours, such as her erogenous zones starting four miles from her body where, in fact, it has been statistically proven that even when she is in the mood, the distance is at most two miles. Another rumour, inaccurate again, is that fortunate males, whom we shall accurately call joyriders, accompanying Gallumbits on what we shall call an excursion, experience a feeling akin to the planet/moon/starship/waterbed moving. Professional observers, positioned at a safe distance, have observed that no such movement is apparent. However, as joyriders considerably outnumber professional observers, this has yet to be proven. Picard: Err..., right! What about the other ship, Data? Is it the Romulans?

Data: Unknown, Captain. It's shaped like ... a shoe.

Picard: A shoe?

Riker: It must be the rumored Romulan Nike class. It's supposed to run faster, jump farther, has better shields for shock absorption, and a little pump on top that you can squeeze. I read about it in this week's _Playbeing_ ... err, (avoiding the questioning gaze of Troi) only for the articles, of course. It's supposed to be top secret. Didn't you see it, Captain?

Picard: You mean that article on page 42, right after the holoimages of Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple-breasted whore of Eroticon Six? Of course not! Everyone knows that I only read William Shakespeare and Oolon Colluphid. Data, on screen.

On the screen, holoimages of Eccentrica Gallumbits of Eroticon Six flash by. She is shown in a variety of rather creative poses. Her three breasts hanging ...

Picard: The Borg, Mr. Data!

Data: My apologies, sir. I thought you meant ...

I remember that alien autopsy video - was that another Geraldo Rivera exclusive? Sheesh.

But I must say living here along the shore of a great lake, we tend to see some very unusual flying objects skirting the shoreline. We have lots of testimonies of UFOs. I saw one recently that was really unusual and very fast.

I don't think they're alien, I just don't know who's in the pilot seat flying them (Air Force? CIA?).

I am getting terribly confused, faglork is obviosly on 'something, that he did not get on this planet' In the UK breasts are often referred to as 'Boobs' So has Marcie made a spelling mistake? Ouch, that hurt! - Surely anything more than a handful is a waste, so what on earth do you do with 3?
Romulans, I'm sorry faglork, but they were Ugly. mikmik has now universally ruled out aliens as ever having landed on earth, explain our Royal Family then! Gottcha. Besides which I watched Roswell and I was pretty well impressed, and Martin Sheen does not tell lies, so there.

Let's look at the facts, this Skull turns up and no-one can decide who made it, Yes - No ?
Was it like the Turin Shroud - a clever forgery?

Why not take a sledge hammer to it, and then try to put it back together, ipso facto

Or better still, all go to Germany and have a party with faglork, steal this Skull thing, get absolutely legless and hold a seance. Problemo solved

Aliens? But there are strangeoids that live near the middle of the earth. Most of their work is responsible for the Extraterrestrial myths, their technology is far beyond our imagination. They are fascinating converstaionalists - I have them for tea every Tuesday.

Hehe ... ever heard of a HAUNEBU?

Some deranged minds still believe that the leaders of the third reich escaped with their ufos to the south pole where they entered the inner earth through a big hole and are now populating middle earth ... LOL

That was an American Dictionary, so it does not count, I'll have you know that I am fluent in Latin, so much so that my Headmaster gave me the title 'eventus stultorum magister'when he made me prefect of my best friends. I rest my case

Mik I didn't think that you are a so big skeptic:-)) What about all these legends, tales, myths? Do you believe as scientist believe this was because they were affraid of natural phenomenons? As we used to tell here (at place I live) every joke has a part of joke;-)

Anyway, this skull is not even a myth, it's an existing thing and according to HP engineers the skull was made without using technology we have now and even in a contradiction with it.

Come on guys, he's got a point.
Haunebu, faglork, that is scarry stuff, my brother got in trouble over UFO's he and a buddy threw a dustbin lid from the top of High Wycombe Grammer School and took a photo of it with a box Brownie, they gave it to the Bucks Free Press who put it on the front page 'UFO Seen over High Wycombe School'

His 'buddy'went on to be the Town Clerk and they never did own up.My brother is hiding out in Australia, I'll tell him one day!
Back to the Skull, I keep getting this mental image of CP30 - surely if it is that old and cannot be explained, then surely it's not that different to Stonehenge, no one really knows how they put it together, so maybe on this one really does have alien technology, if CS Lewis was still alive I bet he'd have an answer.
