Listening to the radio for the first time in about two months, I heard the perfect song! It described me to a 'T' and I got to thinking.....scary I know.....who else has a song they would say fits them perfectly?
The one that fits me? Matchbox 20's "Unwell" - Okay not all of it fits me, but the chorus fits well. I'll let you decide for yourself. :)
All day
Staring at the ceiling
Makin' friends with shadows on my wall
All night
Hearing voices telling me
that I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for something
Hold on
Feeling like I'm headed for a breakdown
and I don't know why
Well I'm not crazy
I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy
I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Me,
talking to myself in public
And dodging glances on the train
And I know
I know they've all been talkin' bout me
I can hear them whisper
And it makes me think there must be something wrong with me
Out of all the hours thinkin
Somehow I've lost my mind
Well I'm not crazy
I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy
I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
I've been talkin in my sleep
Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're takin' me away
Well I'm not crazy
I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy
I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Yeah, How I used to be
How I used to be, yeah
Well I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be
(A little unwell)
How I used to be
I'm just a little unwell
Remember to keep this fun, friendly, and profanity free!!!

Sparkle, sparkle, little twink,
How you are I am I think.
Up above the floor so high,
Like a light bulb in my eye.
Sparkle, sparkle, little twink,
I'm lying on my back I think.
We here in Oregon like our music, like our beer, and don’t get as thunk as some drinkle
peep we do.

Thanks, sure I will admit to being a Wyoming Native. My Grandparents homesteaded there. Native American heritage to boot. Yeah sure, the sheep get nervous, but it's from outside sources.

Great topic! But do I have to narrow it down to one song? ;)
After a lot of pondering, I finally settled on "32 Flavors" by Ani DiFranco:
Squint your eyes and look closer
I'm not between you and your ambition
I am a poster girl with no poster
I am thirty-two flavors and then some
and I'm beyond your peripheral vision
so you might want to turn your head
'cause someday you're going to get hungry
and eat most of the words you just said
Both my parents taught me about good will
and I have done well by their names
Just the kindness I've lavished on strangers
is more than I can explain
Still there's many who've turned out their porch lights
just so I would think they were not home
and hid in the dark of their windows
till I'd passed and left them alone
And God help you if you are an ugly girl
'course, too pretty is also your doom
'cause everyone harbors a secret hatred
for the prettiest girl in the room
And God help you if you are a phoenix
and you dare to rise up from the ash
A thousand eyes will smolder with jealousy
while you are just flying past
I'm not trying to give my life meaning by demeaning you
And I would like to state for the record
I did everything that i could do
I'm not saying that I'm a saint
I just don't want to live that way
No, I will never be a saint but I will always say
Squint your eyes and look closer
I'm not between you and your ambition
I am a poster girl with no poster
I am thirty-two flavors and then some
and I'm beyond your peripheral vision
so you might want to turn your head
'cause someday you might find you're starving
and eating all of the words you said

It is an interesting topic - it's been on my mind off-and-on ever since I saw Wen's post. My first thought was that anything I came up with would probably seem depressing to anyone else and therefore perhaps I should just pass, but that didn't stop me from thinking about it all day.
Then I had the same problem as Brittany: How do you narrow it down to one? And in my case, I couldn't, but I did manage to get it down to two - sort of two sides of the story in a way.
1. Bob Dylan - Visions of Johanna
Ain't it just like the night to play tricks when you're tryin' to be so quiet?
We sit here stranded, though we're all doin' our best to deny it
And Louise holds a handful of rain, temptin' you to defy it
Lights flicker from the opposite loft
In this room the heat pipes just cough
The country music station plays soft
But there's nothing, really nothing to turn off
Just Louise and her lover so entwined
And these visions of Johanna that conquer my mind
In the empty lot where the ladies play blindman's bluff with the key chain
And the all-night girls they whisper of escapades out on the "D" train
We can hear the night watchman click his flashlight
Ask himself if it's him or them that's really insane
Louise, she's all right, she's just near
She's delicate and seems like the mirror
But she just makes it all too concise and too clear
That Johanna's not here
The ghost of 'lectricity howls in the bones of her face
Where these visions of Johanna have now taken my place
Now, little boy lost, he takes himself so seriously
He brags of his misery, he likes to live dangerously
And when bringing her name up
He speaks of a farewell kiss to me
He's sure got a lotta gall to be so useless and all
Muttering small talk at the wall while I'm in the hall
How can I explain?
Oh, it's so hard to get on
And these visions of Johanna, they kept me up past the dawn
Inside the museums, Infinity goes up on trial
Voices echo this is what salvation must be like after a while
But Mona Lisa musta had the highway blues
You can tell by the way she smiles
See the primitive wallflower freeze
When the jelly-faced women all sneeze
Hear the one with the mustache say, "Jeeze
I can't find my knees"
Oh, jewels and binoculars hang from the head of the mule
But these visions of Johanna, they make it all seem so cruel
The peddler now speaks to the countess who's pretending to care for him
Sayin', "Name me someone that's not a parasite and I'll go out and say a prayer for him"
But like Louise always says
"Ya can't look at much, can ya man?"
As she, herself, prepares for him
And Madonna, she still has not showed
We see this empty cage now corrode
Where her cape of the stage once had flowed
The fiddler, he now steps to the road
He writes ev'rything's been returned which was owed
On the back of the fish truck that loads
While my conscience explodes
The harmonicas play the skeleton keys and the rain
And these visions of Johanna are now all that remain
2. REM - Everybody Hurts
When the day is long and the night,
the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough
of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go,
'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong.
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life,
well hang on
'Cause everybody hurts.
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts.
Don't throw your hand.
Oh, no. Don't throw your hand...
If you feel like you're alone,
no, no, no, you are not alone
If you're on your own in this life,
the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much
of this life to hang on
Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes.
So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone

Hmmm... I wonder why... Dylan was one of my early heroes and certainly a big influence musically. I bought his first album when it sold out in Montreal in about three days... I've always listened to a lot of different kinds of music but I never get far away from him - actually, when you think how many rock and pop musicians he's influenced, it's hard to find much that gets very far away from him. And now there's his son, Jacob, in The Wallflowers... ;-)

Mine is most definitely John Lennon's Watching the Wheels...
People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin
When I say that I'm o.k. well they look at me kind of strange
Surely you're not happy now you no longer play the game
People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me
When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go
Ah, people asking questions lost in confusion
Well I tell them there's no problem, only solutions
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind
I tell them there's no hurry
I'm just sitting here doing time
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go

"certainly a big influence musically" makes me think you are a player. What do you play? You are definately a player of some kind. You speak as a musician. I have monitored your posts to this site and know you have respect within this Forum. So is there an outside to you? Play guitar, keyboards, what? Like you know, I am new to this Forum and do not know much about you and others who have been around a while.
Thanks

What do you play?
Guitar, mostly. Now my two oldest sons are doing it too... in fact both this week are auditioning for new bands. There are guitars and amps and accessories all over the house now :-) and even a set of drums downstairs.
One reason I have to live out in the sticks - if our neighbours were any closer, they'd probably be complaining daily...

When I'm on top of my game, this, without doubt:
Artist: Breach Of Trust
Song Title: Awakening
I always knew it was everything I imagined ‘cause
I knew the time would come
When I would be a patient flyer
The earth whispers a light
It cuts right threw the darkness
You knew we’re needing a route
Way on this journey we are bound upon
Come with no course of destination
Lead by our instincts and guided by determination
Traces of loneliness becoming our companion
Assured that we will some day return to where it all began
Life is sacred
So we have forgotten
Help us to understand
What we leave behind us
Pain and hardships will only start to ever
Lead us to the place that we are after
With every day we get stronger in our struggle
I was standing out without a load and I was off
Doing what we can to maintain the ties that hold together
Our spirits tied to bodies regardless of whatever
We encounter on this journey to be all we imagined
Knowing that the limits may be beyond what we can fathom
Taking my life as far as we can
Assured that we will some day return to where it all began
Life is sacred
So we have forgotten
Help us to understand
What we leave behind us
Pain and hardships will only start to ever
Lead us to the place that we are after
Awakening
To the possibilities that I reflect
Awakening
All the sacred gifts that we’ve been given (x2)
All the sacred gifts that we’ve been given
Life is sacred
So we have forgotten
Help us to understand
What we leave behind us
Pain and hardships will only start to ever
Lead us to the place that we are after (x2)

A song that came out with lyrics just written for me I think :-)
Affirmation - Savage Garden
I believe the sun should never set upon an argument
I believe we place our happiness in other people's hands
I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you
I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do
I believe that beauty magazines promote low self-esteem
I believe I'm loved when I'm completely by myself alone
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality
I believe that trust is more important than monogamy
I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul
I believe that family is worth more than money or gold
I believe the struggle for financial freedom is unfair
I believe the only ones who disagree are millionaires
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness
I believe that wedded bliss negates the need to be undressed
I believe that God does not endorse TV evangelists
I believe in love surviving death into eternity
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
[repeat ]

Found another one and had to share ;)
Unusually Unusual by Lonestar
She introduced herself as Amy, said call me Caroline for short
I just moved in three doors down so I wouldn't be the girl next door
And I knew the shoes she wasn't wearing fit her just right
She said, "Hey, man did you know that somebody left your grass out in the yard all night?"
She's unusually unusual
Absolutely unpredictable
She's so different and that's what's wonderful
She's unusually unusual
And that's beautiful to me
She had a tattoo above her ankle of a trident submarine
She said it symbolizes awesome powers hidden deep within our dreams
And her diamond eyes, different in color, held me captive in their light
And she said "Hey, man did you know we used to be brothers in some past life?"
She's unusually unusual
Absolutely unpredictable
She's so different and that's what's wonderful
She's unusually unusual
And that's beautiful to me
Some people may think she's strange, a different cup of tea
But she just does it for me
She's unusually unusual
Absolutely unpredictable
She's so different and that's what's wonderful
She's unusually unusual
And that's beautiful to me

This is a great topic! I'm going to have to think about it for a while before I pick one.
I got a great one for ALL of us guys, though...
"The Truth About Men" by Tracy Byrd
We don't like to go out shoppin',
We don't care what's on sale.
We just want to sit with a bag full of chips,
Watchin' the NFL.
When you come over at half-time,
An' say: "Does this dress fit too tight?"
We just look you in the eye with a big fat lie,
An say:"Uh, uh: Looks just right."
Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf on our days off,
Scratch, an' spit, an cuss.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
When we come draggin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.
We hate watchin' "Steel Magnolias".
We like "Rambo" an' "Die Hard 4".
Jump up and down like fools when we see the new tools,
At the Home Depot store.
We don't really wanna take you to dinner,
At some fancy restaurant.
The only reason we do is 'cause we know it leads to,
The one thing that we all want.
Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about guys.
We'd rather play guitars and work on cars,
Than work on the problems in our lives.
An' though we might say it to you,
Every now and then,
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.
Well, if you want to know what we're all thinkin',
It's nothing too complex.
It's just somethin' cold for drinkin',
And a whole lot of s-e......
Yes, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf an' drive around, lost,
Scratch, an' spit, an' a whole lot of other disgustin' stuff.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
When we come a-crawlin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen;
Sure, it's gonna happen;
You know it's gonna happen again.
An' that's the truth about men.
You know it, son.

Hundreds of songs ran through my head, but I kept coming back to this one.
Artist: Mac Davis
Song Title: It' s Hard To Be Humble
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cause I get better lookin' each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin' the best that I can!
I used to have a girlfriend
But I guess she just couldn't compete
With all of these love-starved women
Who keep clamoring at my feet
Well I could probably find me another
But I guess they're all in awe of me
Who cares? I never get lonesome
Cause I treasure my own company.
Ohhhhhh.....
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cause I get better lookin' each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin' the best that I can!
I guess you could say I'm a loner
A cowboy outlaw, tough and proud
Well, I could have lotsa friends if I wanted,
But then I wouldn't stand out from the crowd
Some folks say that I'm "egotistical",
Heck, I don't even know what that means!
I guess it has something to do with the way
That I fill out my skin-tight blue jeans
Ohhhhhh........
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cause I get better lookin' each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin' the best that I can!
One more time, what are we doin'?
We're doing the best that we can!
HaHa! I can remember in middle school, bursting into my own rendition of this song whenever I felt that I had done something great. If you'd ask my parents, they would probably tell you that happened quite often! ;o)
In my life everyone I know gets assigned a song.... if I know them for longer then a week they get one adding to the soundtrack of my life... and if they want to add to the soundtrack of their's
This song title won me the attention and eventually the love of the woman I love honor and charish and everything that goes with it...really it means a lot to me.
Czar
The police King of Pain
There's a little black spot on the sun today
That's my soul up there
It's the same old thing as yesterday
That's my soul up there
There's a black hat caught in a high tree top
That's my soul up there
There's a flag pole rag and the wind won't stop
That's my soul up there
I have stood here before in the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the king of pain
There's a fossil that's trapped in a high cliff wall
There's a dead salmon frozen in a waterfall
There's a blue whale beached by a springtide's ebb
There's a butterfly trapped in a spider's web
There's a king on a throne with his eyes torn out
There's a blind man looking for a shadow of doubt
There's a rich man sleeping on a golden bed
There's a skeleton choking on a crust of bread
There's a red fox torn by a huntsman's pack
There's a black winged gull with a broken back
There's a little black spot on the sun today
It's the same old thing as yesterday
I have stood here before in the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I always thought you could end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the king of pain......
I'll always be king of pain..............

I would like to add another song that describes me
Autopsy, by Zao
And what shall I do
I try to speak and words stop short of my tongue
They make their way back to my thoughts
Still crafted by a still soul
I move my eyes around trying to find a place to rest
I can't see it but I feel the light
Someone tell us we are loved
Someone take the pain away
Someone fill up the void
Someone fix my broken heart
Are you that someone?
Gotta love death metal :)

I couldn't come up with a song describing me, but I found one that means a great deal to me...
The River--Garth Brooks
You know a dream is like a river
Ever changin' as it flows
And a dreamer's just a vessel
That must follow where it goes
Trying to learn from what's behind you
And never knowing what's in store
Makes each day a constant battle
Just to stay between the shores... and
I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Too many times we stand aside
And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
Has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline
And say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids
And dare to dance the tide... yes
I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
There's bound to be rough waters
And I know I'll take some falls
But with the good Lord as my captain
I can make it through them all... yes
I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Yes, I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
'Til the river runs dry

I couldn't come up with a song describing me, but I found one that means a great deal to me...
The River--Garth Brooks
Hi Vfaulkner,
That is an awesome song! And, believe it or not was in my final choices for my song...but I went for the laugh instead. ;)
Another one that means a lot to me is...
Standing outside the fire--Garth Brooks
We call them cool
Those hearts that have no scars to show
The ones that never do let go
And risk the tables being turned
We call them fools
Who have to dance within the flame
Who chance the sorrow and the shame
That always comes with getting burned
But you've got to be tough when consumed by desire
'Cause it's not enough just to stand outside the fire
We call them strong
Those who can face this world alone
Who seem to get by on their own
Those who will never take the fall
We call them weak
Who are unable to resist
The slightest chance love might exist
And for that forsake it all
They're so hell-bent on giving ,walking a wire
Convinced it's not living if you stand outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire
There's this love that is burning
Deep in my soul
Constantly yearning to get out of control
Wanting to fly higher and higher
I can't abide
Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire
The video to this song can bring a tear to my eye.

Those are both fantastic songs! Garth has a way with words. :)
I was hoping someone would post that song V, you've got a great heart and I do think that song fits you just as much, if not more, than it means to you. Never underestimate your worth. ;)

Garth has a way with words. :)
Yeah, like "I got friends in low places".... :-)
I wonder why nobody comes up with something from Toby Keith. He has some very critical words in his songs.

Sorry folks, I gotta do this. The last few posts jogged a joke loose from my addled brain:
What has 17 teeth and 32 legs?
The front row at a Garth Brooks concert.

I like his lyrics! He even knows why I'm single!!
This happens twice a week to me!!!
Toby Keith Lyrics
Don't Leave, I Think I Love You Lyrics
Chorus:]
Don't leave, I think I love you
I just saw the rest of my life, honey you're in it
Won't you hear what I say, give me a minute
Don't leave, I think I love you
I know you think I'm crazy, And you probably should
I wouldn't make this up, I couldn't dream this good
Now baby Don't tell me that I missed my chance
I haven't heard last call, would you like to dance?
I've been sitting here waiting on you all night
Why don't you give me that old good-to-go green light
Am I coming on strong, baby movin' kinda fast
I'm rushing along but at least I gotta ask
I couldn't live with myself if you got away
I'm a love sick puppy, baby what do you say?
[Chorus]
It's late and been a long night, you're tired I know
Aw, don't break my heart, baby please don't go
It Ain't the shikey talkin', ain't this neon light
You see I've fallen stone-cold in love at first sight
Gonna cut to the chase, baby get right to it
I got a lot to say and a short time to do it
Aw, Don't walk away honey I'm just trying to
Aw... listen to me talkin', I'm a babblin' fool
[chorus]
Really baby, don't leave
I think I love you
I know you think I'm crazy, and you probably should
I wouldn't make this up, I couldn't dream this good

I was doing an emode.com test and this is what it says:
You are a mad man and your theme song is "Born to be Wild." You're the guy most likely to run out on the baseball diamond during a rain delay or bang on the penalty box at a hockey game. Either way, when your mug comes on the Jumbotron, the crowd goes nuts. Whether it's bungee jumping off a bridge, or ducking the ropes at a ski resort, you throw caution to the wind—or so it seems to others. But you know that it's not danger that you crave, but the excitement that comes with challenging your fears. That's why you've got no problem asking a total stranger to dance. You are an instant party, and your friends love you for the risks you take, because whether you show it or not, you're pretty much in control when you take them. So full speed ahead as you take the world in a love embrace. You know your birthright and Steppenwolf helps take you there.
MY DOG BREED IS:
St. Bernard
No bones about it, you're a dedicated, trustworthy St. Bernard. Loyal and good-hearted, you're as reliable as they come. Your naturally protective personality is reflected in the way you treat people close to you. Sheltering your nearest and dearest from harm (or bad news, for that matter) is high on your priority list. That attitude earns you lots of gold stars, not to mention respect. People admire your strong morals — and how well you stick to them! Focused, steadfast, and determined, you always aim to please. It's a breed like yours that makes the world a better place — woof!
The World:

Another good song that I relate to is:
Trace Adkins - I'm Tryin
This gettin up early pullin double shifts
Gonna make an old of me long before I ever get rich
But I'm tryin
It's been two years since we finalized
I still aint used to puttin Ex in front of wife
But I'm tryin
Send more money right away
Is pretty much all she has to say when she calls these days
And don't you be late
But all I can do, is all I can do
But I keep on tryin
And all I can be, is all I can be
And I keep on tryin
There's always a mountain in front of me
Seems I'm always climbing, and falling, and climbing,
But I keep on tryin
I remember daddy sayin keep your eye on the ball
Run like hell, play to win, get up when you fall
I'm tryin
Don't say nothin that you can't take back
Never do anything you might regret
No, don't do that
Daddy, I'm tryin
Know the difference between heaven and hell
Go easy on the bottle, be hard on yourself
And I know he meant well.
But all I can do, is all I can do
But I keep on tryin
And all I can be, is all I can be
And I keep on tryin
There's always a mountain in front of me
Seems I'm always climbing, and falling, and climbing,
But I keep on tryin.
Keep on tryin...
All I can do
Is all I can do
And I keep on tryin
And all I can be
That's all I can be
And I keep on tryin.
But all I can do, is all I can do
But I keep on tryin
There's always a mountain in front of me
Seems I'm always climbing, and stumbling, and falling, and climbing,
But I keep on tryin.
This gettin up early pulling double shifts
Is gonna make an old man of me long before I ever get rich,
But I'm tryin.

These lyrics always hit home every time I hear them..
they're from the Faithless track "We Come One"
All the subtle flavours of my life
are become bitter seeds
and poisoned leaves
without you
You represent what's true
I drain the colour from the sky
And turn blue
without you
These arms lack a purpose
Flapping like a humming-bird
I'm nervous 'cause
I'm the left eye
you're the right
Would it not be madness to fight
We come one
In you the song which rights my wrongs
In you the fullness of living
The power to begin again
From right now, in you
We come one
I'm not afraid
never never scared
Worries washed
pressed air
I am the left eye
you're the right
Would it not be madness to fight
We come one
