OK, heres the deal...I want to learn about Linux, and decided to build a small system to run Linux on (Vector Linux (http://www.vectorlinux.com) as it goes). I already have a three system, wireless network, working away on Windows 2000 in ad-hoc mode. My internet connection is via a USB cable modem (an NTL Home 100).
The question is, can I run the Linux box via cross-over cable from one of the Windows 2000 boxes and still connect from any of the machines to the internet?
