Developing a maillist database

I own an online catalog (http://furlongspetsupply.com) & would like to take the orders that are emailled to us into MSOutlook by the shopping cart we subscribe to (Americart-stinks by the way) to be put into a database (Access or Excel?). I would love it to be simple or automatic if possible. Ultimately, this would be used to do our opt in email list & to be mail merged to mail out our catalog. Any suggestions?

Do you have a database that the orders also go into?

No we don't. That is part of the advice I am looking for. I can get information from my shopping cart in CSV form, but as far as I can see it would need to be copy/pasted into either access or excel.

Well PHPadmin can help you update a mySQL database (using a CSV file). And there are a few free newsletter scripts out there that should be able to meet your needs
