I am attempting to implement a new domain name into my webiste and it hasnt gone so well...
I did what everyone and google themselves directed me to do, 301 redirecting the old domain to the new domain, etc... of course there are 1200 pages so I cant 301 every single one, but did the main pages. I also put all static links on the main pages.... ie http://www.newdomain.com/contact.html and so.

Well New domain sub pages were all picked upa nd placed decently, but the index page hasnt showed up at all under any of my search terms, using scroogle it showed it as a site left out. Well I got annoyed and took the 301 off from old domain to new domain, now this has been active since late beginning of Oct.... Today I check my main keyword and my old domain, which I may say was no where no to be seen, is ranked #21 and new domain is in la la land..

Not sure what more I can do, tried to do everything I could do, to not make google mad at me on the change of domains. *shrug* now what%@#%

After shifting your Website you should have wait for some time so that Google Picks all pages + You should also tries to contact webmasters those are linking to your OLD website to correct the domain on their website.

That's right!
Wait for some more time.
In the mean time just concentrate on link building.
Get links to both home and inner pages.

Submit your new site in Google webmaster tool and generate a new Sitemap.xml and submit in GWT. Along with that, try to build links that relate to your niche so that the website performance will be more and visible in results.
