To give a little background, we have been designing and manufacturing our own coffee mugs for 20 years now. Our brand is well known with collectors and coffee lovers, and our mugs are recognized by many.
Our website has been extremely successful for us in regards to people who are specifically looking for our products on the web. With just Page title and META manipulation we have managed to get first page listing on most of our relevant keywords:
chaleur coffee mug
van gogh coffee mug
monet coffee mug
tiffany coffee mug
etc.
basically most search terms used by people specifically looking for our products.
We realize that we have a serious lack of content and information though, and we are doing a poor job of converting sales from people who find us via our PPC ads on the more generic terms "coffee mugs" and "coffee cups".
I have recently converted our website from purely dynamic pages to more of a "hybrid" design where the first page of each of our product categories is static. We are looking to hire someone to write content for the home page, as well as these 12 static products pages.
