Rackspace denying access to Yahoo! crawlers

I know RackSpace has done some heavy advertising on IEntry,Inc's network so I thought I would let everyone know they may be denying access to Yahoo! crawlers to index your site and rank your site within their search engine.

Tim Mayor of Yahoo! jumps into the thread and indeed says their crawlers are blocked from Rackspace hosting servers.

Kinda reminds me of the GoDaddy episode in the later part of 2003 when they blocked the Google spiders -- they kept on blaming Google!

Hmmm, interesting read. I'm in the process of getting a server with Rackspace and will certainly research this further. Thanks for the post.
