My revenue was down about 70% even though I was promoting basically the same programs in the same ways as before on PPC. Hoping December picks up.

So that wasn't due to getting hit by the Google update, since it sounds like you are doing mainly PPC? Do you focus all your efforts on one network mainly? Are any of your ads getting blocked? Do you open links in new windows? Just throwing out some ideas for why your income could have dropped so dramatically. Here's to a much better December.

Perhaps you should analyze your keywords and see which keywords are converting. Which is actually hard to do from your end because you are an affiliate.
If you have not already done so work a reporting suite, WebTrends; Sane Solutions Nettracker; or LiveStats, to name a few. See where people are entering your site and where they are leaving.
