I did a search at msn.com and was given the "beta" results.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I read in another thread here that MSN search started directing some searches to the beta version about Jan 8.
It was stataed that if all went well, they would increase the amount of traffic sent.
So, looks like MSN is easing into it.

I'm seeing the beta results being rolled out to the current results at MSN.com. I think they're finally out of beta--or at least testing it live today.

YOu can tell by the colors. And by the SERP's if you have been following them closely.

Jackson - the color scheme is a bit different for the MSN search beta. THe colors are a darker blue. Also, you will have a "near me" button next to the search button. Currently on the logo on the right it also says "beta".
MSN seems to be methodically rolling out the beta. I have seen the results go live on computers with different IP's at different times. I think they are on the verge of a complete rollout.

Just got a tip that the "official" roll out will be Feb 1st.
We'll know in 2 weeks how reliable that source is...

MSN Search Beta is now out of beta--and it rumored to be tied to the latest version of the Windows Updates. So, make sure your Windows machine is up to date.
Watch out Google an Yahoo!, here comes MSN!

But it's still indexing affiliate pages.

I'm never surprised with nothing going out of redmond's labs. I'll be surprised if they propose windows that can't be infected. Few days ago I saw a cash machine with pop-up virus msg on the screen. It's a pity, I had no camera in that moment.
