Google PR up & Drop down after few days!!!

Dear fellow members,

Happy new year to all.

Sometime between the end of December 2004 & beginning of January 2004, Google updated my 2 sites:
www.arrowtravel.com and www.eldertravelclub.com to a higher PR. Some pages went from 0 to 3. Others from 3 to 4.
Today I notice the PR of both my sites have been dropped to the original PageRank.
Can anyone explain this to me, why PR is up for about 2-3 days and then drop again.
I'm confused,

While I can't answer the 'why' I have also noticed (yesterday, actually) that my own site as well as (from what I can tell) all of my clients' sites have dropped in pr.
I'm not too worried about it as other sites I often visit seem to have dropped also. My best guess is there's a pr update brewing - wait 'til it's done bubbling over:)

Both of the two links you posted are showing me a PR of 4.

After an update I also notice fluctuations for many days following.

Today I notice the PR of both sites ranking up 1 space for only about an hour. Then they dropped again. I'll keep checking it. At least I'm not the only one seeing this happening.

The update hasn't "settled" yet.

The results you see come from various Google datacenters, not all of which show the same info.

You can check the PR of your sites at these centers by using going to SEOchat.com and using their future page rank tool.

Or another good one is at Mcdar.com. This shows your BLs too.
