I felt the necessity of adding a detailed description to my logo, but using that in its alt tag would be annoying for blind users.

Would using longdesc be appropriate for this issue?

OK! Now I am testing with the header graphic of my pages, see example switching style sheets off at http://www.webnauts.net/test.html the longdesc and additionally to it, an invisible to visual browser long description according to this proposal: http://www.stuffandnonsense.co.uk/archives/accessibility_footnotes.html

What do you think about that?

Not annoying for visual impaired users? Even if I did not use the longdesc? And wouldn't that be dangerous for SEO?

Hi,

It looks good to me, but I'm not sure about the possible SEO problems.

Have Fun,
