I can't figure out what is going on. For the longest time I was in the top ten for several phrases. The highest I have now is 27. Other sites were not even close to me have blasted past me to the top ten.

1. I have two domains. One parked on top of the other so that they act exactly as the same site. (it's a long story) but I may have gotten penalized for duplicating the same site.

2. The site had a redesign and new PHP mod_rewrite rules so all my URLs changed. The only ones that have been indexed on Google for at least two months are URLs that don't even exist anymore but were high rankers nonetheless. I had them redirect to the home page via error pages.

3. I recently changed my title and it shows up somehow but it doesn't seem as if Google will even visit my site now according to my logs. Nov.6 was the last visit.

If anyone has ideas on how this all happened I would be glad to hear them.

To increase the number of times google visits you, you should increase the number of back links you have, preferably from page rank 3/4+

THis will make it easier for you to optimise you site because you will be able to see the results of the changes you made, quicker :)
