Page Rank Going Beserk

I can't believe how my pagerank has been lately.
For the past week its been up and down constantly.
I can understand this during the google update but
the sad thing is I went from a 5 for a month until the update, then it went to a 4 to a 5 to a 4 back to a 5 again, but mostly a 4.
Now today it's gone beserk its a 4 most of the day and when I turn around its a 3 then a 4 again.
Can anyone explain what might be happening.
I had a few affilate links that I noticed where a rank of 0, I removed them hoping this will help.

It does seem that Google hasn't finished tweaking yet. I think the best advice was given by someone else here in another thread (rlrouse maybe?): don't panic and start changing things around until Google has a chance to finish and let the dust settle - if you make any significant changes now, you may be changing something that will make things worse for you rather than better.
