Hi guys, I have been scouring the web over to find a solution to this problem I am having, and yet cannot find anyone else having this problem as well, but I am stumped as to what I'm doing wrong.
I have a flash site which requires some of the menu items to have popup windows (guestbook, a photo portfolio etc), the problem I am encountering, is that generally the site works great, except once you have used one of the buttons which has a popup attached to it, and then close the popup window to go back to the flash movie, none of the flash buttons are working anymore. They will all go back to the page you were stuck on with the flash popup. The site I am referring to is located at http://www.itsmeowornever.org/CJ/index2.html
Refer to the guestbook menu item and also the portfolio once you have clicked on a thumbnail. Then, the flash movie is stuck.
Any suggestions???? Please feel free to email me any ideas to monique@alleykatz.net
Thanks.

It's all working for me on IE6.

The windows open, close, and open if I click again.

Have I misunderstood?

Ah. Hang on - if I go to Portfolio I can open and close as many windows as I want. If I click say, Bio or anything else, the movie stays on the Portfolio page and the buttons then malfunction.

It will be a flow issue in your movie - not a fault as such, but an error in the flwo of the movie.

Is there any way you can provide a sample movie (I realise this one is confidential, of course) that does the same thing so we can look at it?

you can contact me on AOL IM as tru2mee2002 or yahoo im by the same way.... if possible?
I know pretty well how flash itself works and have been doing small movies for ages, this is only my second shot at doing a full site and I'm still not exactly sure the best way to set up a full site. I would definately appreciate any help you can give.
