Earth Tec Inc. (https://earthtecinc.com) has just recently started a simple blog http://offshorewebhosting.blogspot.com on issues related to internet privacy, offshore strategies, and other scraps of information we think might be of interest to others.

Can anyone offer me a strong arguement to present to my coworkers as to why it would be a good idea for us to syndicate our blog. One of our tech support people is wary about XML as being another language to cause distractions.

Does anyone have success stories from syndicating their site? Or other tips that I can pass along that will show how blogs are meant to be seen as complements not copies of e-newsletters?

Thanks. Susan

The future of web services is XML. The sooner you implement XML into your web services the better off you'll be.

Don't think of XML as a new language, think of it as the only language.

The simple elegance of XML allows communication between applications with ease.

FYI - Microsoft scrapped it's first version of Longhorn and started from scratch - heavy on object oriented XML.

Thanks computermark for the rss/xml plug. Passed it along to my compadres.

I was hoping folks could look at the blogsite:
http://offshorewebhosting.blogspot.com and offer any suggestions for improvements in content, whether or not to add sidebar links to our website, what kind of syndicate would be best for our blog site's subject matter (offshore strategies, privacy matters, computer security, Panama).

Also if anyone has business blogs that they are particularly fond of, please post them so that we can check them out.
