Loks like a typica NHL Habs vs. Sens game. I saw an inteview with Guy Lafluer on the telly the other day and he was saying that the NHL should drop six teams and open a Europe NHL for European players and the North American one is for NoRth American players. the Stanley Cup would then be played for by the best teams from the two leagues.

There's also ice hockey in Hull, Quebec, Canada (even if the separatists have renamed Hull to Gatineau), but over here it really is just an excuse for a punch up... ;-)
It's pretty much the same when the Senators or Habs meet the Leafs... but then of course the Leafs go whinging back to Queen's Park in Toronto and the next thing you know we have new hockey penalties - the latest one, if I'm not mistaken, is a 5 minute major for flicking lint off a Leafs jersey... apparently, Leafs players are more fragile and sensitive than most, which might explain why they haven't actually won anything since 1962.

Um 1967 was the last year the leafs won the cup because all the other teams whined about the leafs being so darned good.
It is all in the politics.

ahhhh, I see... so in 1967, the Leafs agreed that for the next 36 years at least/so far they would promise to suck so the other teams could win a few?
lol... Leafs fans are SOOOOO out of touch with reality... :-)
