6 out of 10 Correct
And, oddly enough I got more serial killers than programmers right. Does that mean something strange?

The only one I knew for sure was "The Son of Sam" guy, David something or other. (Two coincidences at play here, right Mr. Puppy? Right, Mr. David? Right, oh exalted blonde leaders?)
Any which, I got 5/10, which, considering I knew the one, is below 50/50, but I GUESS if it is rounded up, it's about right.
Rocky1, it was an inspired display, I am suitably, and very, impressed. I have some experience in the 'losing it for a good cause' arena, which then leads to this series on someone of your ilk, without the restraint! :
Rocky1; Programmer Killer, or Serial Fishing Proponent?
(makes mental - I wonder does it mean 'proponent of serial fishing? or serial proponent of fishing? Or all three?)

Wooohooo 8/10 OK that make me the defacto expert in the game of "Killer or coder"
So lets have a look at the photo's on these posts above me.
1. Minstral - ummm has that I'm analysising you look of a serial killer and has facial hair. Mind you looks old enough to have been around when people invented computer languages. Presses Programmer option. yep 1/1
2. Rocky - OMG dark glasses, hidden face, facial hair everything points to killer. Mind you whole apperance in geeky enough for a coder. So we'll press Programmer option. yep 2/2
3. Mikmik - Ummmm happy cheerful looking persona, clean shaven doesn't look like he'd hurt a mouse. However he really really doesn't look anything like a programmer. Presses killer option. yep 3/3 woohoo, wait whose that knocking on the door, Oh hi Mik.... agghhhhhhhhhhhh

my gawd... if we're not careful there'll be none of us left by morning... okay, listen up and listen carefully:
(1) NO ONE goes ANYWHERE alone - make sure you're in pairs at all time (except for that inevitable guy who's paranoid and everyone hates - he'll be the next one to go missing).
(3) STAY IN THE LIGHT at all times, even if it's just a Zippo lighter! it's well know than serial killers and programmers are afraid of light.
(4) DON'T let your kids go to Never Never Land for a sleepover! (I know that one has nothing to do with this thread but I can't believe that, after 1993, or for that matter after even just seeing a recent photo of MJ, any parent would say to their 12 year old, "Of course you can go have a sleepover with MJ".)

Ya see his home movies? I think he's just an 'innocent', he has no concept of what is 'sociably' acceptable of an adult. Which I can associate with, coz my family continually asks when I am going to start looking & acting 42 (how does a 42yr old look & act???). Now I'm not saying that he is by any social defintiion of 'normal', but I think he's relatively harmless. Have you noticed that the parents that have pursued this are parents that need money? MJ is an easy touch, coz he is different. Society doesn't like different :-)

I agree about the parents - that's part of my point, in fact. Whether or not he is guilty as charged, it's not the first time he has been charged, and I'm not sure a truly responsible parent would put their child in a risk position, and then 3 months later claim damages - "dodgy" indeed - although in this case as I understand it no litigation has been launched or will be launched according to the police. Even without that, MJ is an extremely strange dude who not only has no understanding of social reality but shouldn't be trusted with the care of himself let alone anyone else - remember the baby on the balcony episode?

I think you're supposed to be boring and bored by now - I always tell people I pride myself on immaturity because most people who describe themselves as mature are people who seem to be spending their whole lives planning their retirements and avoiding fun...

errr.... when was Elton pre-gay? I'm pretty sure he was gay in utero...
Elton - gay? I thought he just like 'fancy' clothes and fab-U-lous hats.
And I got an 8/10 but much of the time I was guessing. Well, actually, all of the time. Some of the pictures looked too old for the guy to have been programming anything but his horse and cart - and other pictures were plain old unsettling.
Creeped me right out, frankly.
And just before bed, too!
Note to self: do not read any threads started (just wrote "startled") by Minstrel after 9pm. Yeah, I remember the good ol' days of getting READY to go out at 11pm! And not being freaked out by creepy Son of Sam pictures. {shudder}

OK having done the survey on the first 3 posters and still having the highest (joint) score its time to analise the ladies: programmer or killer...
1. JMac.... Ummm tinted B&W picture could indicate killer but to me looks more like she hasn't seen the sun lately and therefore is stuck programming in a cubical all day. Selects Programmer
2. Matauri... The mistress of disguise, latest attempt made to look intellectual and a teacher at Hogwarts. Meglomanic world domination psycosis plus the lives in Australia and thinks MJ is innocent is a dead give away. Killer..Thriller
3. Wen... Really tough call. Mug shot looks more like a victorian painting of a pixie ummm Jack the Ripper was Victorian and they didn't have computers. No looks to innocent to be a killer. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that men dont excercise both sides of their brains as much as they should. So you never know, it could be just a matter of men having unfit minds ;-)
Cindy
Okay, that totally freaked me out....
In the late seventies I was a kid in Queens, New York. A week before David Berkowitz aka "Son of Sam" was arrested I was with a friend at a local park and he was on the run. The media had warned all young women with long, dark hair to hide it under a cap, and warned young women not to go out alone at night, until he was caught. Several of the killings were within 15 minutes of where I lived.
We were in a well-lit area with other people not far away. A man ran into the park, asked us a few questions and ran back to his car. We didn't consider it too unusual until we saw the papers several days later...
The man asking the questions of us WAS David Berkowitz and the car he was driving was the car that got ticketed and that ticket eventually led the police to him.
I know it's a bit off (okay, way-off) topic but the picture of him made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!
