I created a web site for my house painting company and would like to get more traffic so I need more links so that Internet searchers can access my site. How can I trade or exchange links to other sites? What kind of appropriate web sites should I link to? Any suggestion please!!! Thank you

first, you should put this post in the link exchange forum... then go to Linkpartners.com and join there and search for links... you should probably look for links to suppliers/vendors/shopping malls/ad sites, etc.... as long as your links are something that you yourself find satisfactory and informative, you could probably add from any type of business.

Try contacting some of the local realtors as well as contractors that you know and would like to do business with. Is there a local co-op or leads group? Is your hosting company local? Some of my clients are included on a service guide page that lists multiple trades and services.
Local independant insurance agents may be another possibility.
