Can everyone tell that the letters are RE blended together, the company name is Residual Effex, upscale sophisticated graphics. Im in the preocess of redesignning my look I got into business so quick early on I didnt get to spend time making my look....anyhow what do you think.

I agree, it does look like RK. You need to define the E more.
The logo itself seems too tall, and also doesn't have any body to it. The lettering needs some more thickness, just enough to make it more visible.
Also, what is your target audience? You want your logo to appeal to the senses of your audience (ie: a fairytale logo has a certain script font, a sports logo feels "action")

Nice start Dan.
You may like to consider some refinements.
-Monogram logos are tricky, and may not have the strength of a logo with a distinct graphic element.
-You are working with both very sharp and round shapes. While contrast is generally very good, in this case it can creates a visual conflict for the eye.
-Considering tightening your logo together and work towards a more solid iconic look.

Thanks guys for all the input. I have had probably 50 people check this one out so far. Most didnt like too much. I just had the idea for this and gave it a shot, it definitely looks original but a logo is something that needs to appeal to all, so I have posted a new one. I will probably use this further down the line for something else I am a big fan of black and white simplistic design. O well. Review my new one its for a more general audience. Thx all.
