Hairy Scary Evolutions

I did a search for Phantom Fireworks in yahoo and hairyscaryevolutions.com came up as the #4 result.

I checked their site and they don't have any references to phantom or fireworks on their site, but yet they popped up as #4. Any ideas how?

Unless I missed something it doesn't look like any black hat techniques used.

I also checked on google but they were not listed.

I see as #4 on Y also.

I can't see any reason for it.

Like was said, Phantom nor Fireworks is anywhere to be found on the page. The cached version shows that no changes have been made since it was cached.

I checked a few backlinks and didn't find anything that would explain it coming up for either word, or the combination of the two.

I don't know what to tell you, that is odd.

I got it this time, and guess what, it is in the same place on MSN. I copied code and searched every method I could on the linked page, and it's just not there.

Thanks for looking at least. I sent a message to YahooMike, maybe he knows how they got that ranking.

Whatever they did it's working for them. Unless of course it's just a bug in the algo.

I did some more checking on their incoming links and still haven't been able to locate anything that explains their results.
