Greetings all!

I have a question regarding the Google Results Clustering (listing only 2 pages for a specific keyword). What I'm wondering is: I have specific landing pages I would like my users to hit on my keywords. This is where they will find the relevant information they are looking for.

I also have a secondary 'info' page, describing the general specifics of this category.

The ideal thing would be for the primary landing page to be listed first, and the secondary info page to be indented second. My problem is the googlebot might think my info page might be more relevant due to the fact that there is considerably more content, and as far as targeted keywords go it will have around the same density.

Is there any way to make sure my primary page comes up first and not my info page? My first though process was to make my info page in a deeper directory (www.site.com/product.asp and then www.site.com/product.asp/product-info.asp). Does anyone think this would make any difference, or does anyone have any other suggestions/information on this topic?

Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated. Our new site should be up and running by end of next week. (As you can see, our current site is about as SE friendly as a tree stump!)

Link to your info page from the primary page only. If everything else is pretty much equal that will do it.

All other things (relatively) being equal, the inbound links will make the difference.

Placing the info page in a deeper directory won't make any difference. It's the linking structure that counts.

Make sure you have visible links to your home page.
I started with a small fast loading home page with hidden text site that was read automaticaly. Big mistake, when the media played poped up most visiters departed and if they were muted they didn't here the text."And search engines disreguard hidden text as spam" lowering your ranking. Keywords have to match the text on your page. Match keywords to text and links on every page.
My home page and seven key pages are much larger (Not recamended by most webmasters)with very tiny text not ment to be read only to match keywords.
As of thies changes I now rank in the top 10 to 30 in my sector of voice technology if I add Alaska to the keywords I almost come up #1 and my visiters. view several pages.
