Apparently there's a new SEMPO (http://www.sempo-tahoe.com) website out there, which is actually making fun of the real sempo.org website. I'm not sure who is behind the site, and I haven't had time to investigate it yet. However, I could easily add a few names to the list of potential owners.

I don't use "net-esque" acronyms often, but I think this one sums it up for me in this case: ROTFL.

I've always enjoyed reading about the latest SEMPO gossip. I have no real opinions about the organization itself, but I'm looking forward to taking a deeper look at that site when I get the chance.

Site went on line on 9/17/04. In under a month the site lists # 3 or 4 on Google with a search for "sempo" and has over 126 sites linking to it. 6606 visitors to date. Press release put out by a dog on 10/4/04. 28,512 reads to date.
