Anybody who is justly irritated by 419 email scams has got to look at http://www.419eater.com/index.htm
Basically a site dedicated to baiting scammers, leading them on and making them look stupid!
I love it

That is really funny !!

I didn't know what a 419 scam is.
I'm glad that someone is giving these Nigerian scammers the run-around.
Simply brilliant !

Dear Sir,

Good day.
I mailing you so that you can come quickly to our aid as I have intention of establishing in your country. I am aware you do not know me but relationship most time starts unannounced.
My name is Steve Ngora, the son of Kolo Ngora an
exporter of cocoa, coffee and importer of Thailand

My late father met his untimely death as a result of
the political crisis which rocked my country Cote
DŽIvoire on the 19th of september 2002.After 3 days the rebels took over Bouaké one of the major cities in the northern part of Cote DŽIvoire. My father left one morning to monitor his warehouse not knowing that it has been occupied by the rebels .As he approached his office the rebels opened fire and wounded my father with one of his staff. He died at the hospital as a result of bleeding as there is no medical staff to attend to him .
The news got to us the following day and I and my
mother arranged ourselves and headed to the capital
city Abidjan for safety with the aid of the French
military men.
Before we left we searched his room and discovered
some of this important documents which include the
deposit Receipt he used to deposit $ 7.6 million in a prime bank here in Abidjan. The fund is deposited in a suspense account and my name is used as the
beneficiary of the fund.
Due to the situation of the civil war here, I and my
mother have decided to transfer the fund to your
country for investment purposes.

We intend to establish in your country and we need your help in the management and investment of the fund.

We will want you to consider the proposal and get in
touch with us within 4days of receiving this mail, then we can issue you the contacts of the bank and the receipt given to my late father when he deposited the fund in suspense account with the bank. We will compensate you based on our agreement with you and my mother.

We are keenly waiting for your response. You can reach us with this telephone number +225 05899754 or email address;

I got that same one Sunday night, around midnight Mik, in triplicate for some reason!! That guy must really think I'm loaded. Of course he didn't reply when I responded by suggesting he send the money in form of a cashiers check, and we'd work out the remainder of the arrangements later. (In triplicate of course!)

If he sends it to all us renowned beer 'enjoyers' (he mustn't know about my current sabbatical status, however temporary it may be), sooner or later he'll find someone 'loaded' enough to partner up.

Don't you hate waking up with no memory of last night, but with the feeling of impending doom further aggravating the morning discomfort?
In Nigeria? (or Abidjan)
