Front Page deep directory and long filename local edit of html pages.

Does anyone know a way to carry out Front Page deep directory and long filename local edit of html pages with out moving or changing the filename or directory path.

For example this file loads and may be edited by Front Page
C:\Documents and Settings\Test\My Documents\My Webs\The Place of site Solutions\www.url_name.com\public_html\index.html

However, this will not open.
C:\Documents and Settings\Test\My Documents\My Webs\The Place of site Solutions\www.url_name.com\public_html\index_longe r_filename_will_not_open_in_Front_Page.html

I believe the limit is about 260 characters.
