Hi,
CMS is getting redefined imho with a range of webservices now form Google, Amazon and eBay. I believe more and more people will be using small stubs in their websites to generate fresh content and maybe even some revenue.
I have implemented the Amazon webservices recently in my site that you can have a look at http://arupbhanja.com/soap/amazon.php - try a search of any product and you get the results that you can see more detail/buy directly.
There is a keyword-setup module also developed and implemented at http://arupbhanja.com/code.htm here you see a right skyscraper that shows results for 'madonna'.
In future we will see more such stubs from a host of players offering mortgage comparisons, price comparisons, vacation bookings right from the main service providers servers like an airline offering current seat status in your website instead of a static banner.
Whether we can still call it CMS or webserviceCMS I dont know.
Look fwd to comments from members.
Best
