Earlier this year, the SCO Web site was taken out in a MyDoom DOS attack.
Two other variants of MyDoom contain job requests in the antivirus industry.
W32/MyDoom-V and W32/MyDoom-U, are the words: "We searching 4 work in AV industry." These worms spread via e-mail in the form of an e-mail file attachment. If users launch the malicious file, the worms activate and may attempt to download a backdoor Trojan horse called "Surila."
Now Antivirus firm Symantec is the target of a denial-of-service attack on targeted on September 29th from the authors of the latest version of the MyDoom worm, W32/MyDoom-X.
