Looking for countries, cities IP`s database

I`m looking for countries, cities IP`s daabase. We need it to enable targeting for advertisers. Can anyone help with this?

Why use a database? Visitors ip's can easily be resolved from their proxy server. Loads of tutorials out there for such scripting. Zend would be an excellent first port of call and also perhaps the php website. If no luck google it and you are sure to get a result.

Like as seen on the MySQL website. But why bother when this can all be determined with a few lines of code. You could then store the info in a session if you require multiple times.

I agree with php~pro. visitors IP can be easily resolved...other than that u can buy database from maxmind or even the weblocations countries database from salpure which is relatively low priced...

there is also free info available at geobytes on countries and cities but it needs some data processing. choice is yours.

I agreed with php-pro and jim-karry. Visitors ip's can easily be resolved. But if you want to save your time, $49 per year is a good one.

I got the one from worldcitiesdatabase.com at much cheaper rate and found it good too..
