I want to know how to get my images ranked higher in the google image search feature. If I type in miniature horses in the regular search feature, my site is #1. However, when I make the same search in the image mode, I have no images in the first 362 images. If I type in my site name, T Bar T Miniature Horses, I get 77 images, so I know Google is picking them up. Thanks

Hello again mgtman:)
Anything to help out a fellow horse enthusiast.
To see a listing of all your pictures listed on the google image search type site:http://www.tbart.net as a search.
You can also use a search that stays on your site only to see what you have for a keyword.
Such as site:http://www.tbart.net miniature horses
The following are things the google image search is looking for.
IMAGE NAME - having an image named with the keywords or keyphrase. If a key phrase then use a dash rather then an underscore to separate words.
PAGE CONTENT - Keyword or phrase just after or near the image you want highly ranked.
TITLE - The page title with the keyword or phrase
Guesstimating on this one - The 1st text on the page.
In one case I seen that someone had the image and some text all wrapped in the same <a href> tag and the text being used had the phrase in it. It is #1 for Miniature Horses.
There could be more than I have listed. These are just the things I have noticed and used.
