Log MAC Address of Website Visitors?

I am familiar with logging a website visitors IP address. This is helpful for lots of reasons. As another option, mainly for security reasons, I am interested in the possibility of logging a visitors MAC address.

Is it possible to pull the MAC address of a visitor to a website? If so, how?
