This might be a dumb question, but how do you check Yahoo! cache?

Type site:www.mysite.com and Yahoo will give you a list of pages from your site that are indexed, with the option to view the cache version.

There is also a way to check all the pages that were indexed but do not show up yet.

You have to use the vs-switch.

See article "How to Predict Yahoo Web Search Listings" in jonnygodboy's weblog.
http://www.jonnygoodboy.com/index.php?p=118 on how to use that switch

If you are referring to appending &vs=www.domain.com to your query Url ... all that does is filter out your site for that search string. It does not show you the Slurped pages that are not in the index already.

I tested this with pages that have been crawled from one day ago and up to a week ago --could not get them to appear by appending the Url with the string.

Where did you hear about this anyway?

as ronnie said - i did the search and i got it exactly the same - it does not show you any more information about where you are going to be on the page in yahoo.

YahooMike just confirmed that the vs switch does nothing in this post (http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?p=145295#145295).

No Easter Eggs involved here -- URLs go live for all searches at the same time.
