I recently did a search on my company name (system dynamics corporation) in yahoo and found that the first links to our domain are for some obselete pages and temp files that were never actually published?!?
Anyone know what might be happening?

Alex,
Yahoo have been notoriously slow at updating the cache version of sites when they have changed. I think this is probably at the root of your problem. You have my sympathy, but I think you're just going to have to wait.
BTW Yahoo have been updating pretty constantly for the past 14 days or so. You may see some changes.

Never actually published? According to Yahoo they were. Even Google shows them under the other domain.
Another thing is that your new pages are not optimized for your Company name. That is why the old pages are showing over the new.
Yahoo has over 100 pages indexed (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=site%3Awww.sdc.ca&ei=UTF-8&fr=my_top&n=20&fl=0&x=wrt) for your new site. Not one of them has your Company name in the Title of the page. Only 60 or so have your Company name on the page at all.
If you want to be found for your name, then include it at least in your page title.
