Remaining logged in

I would like to have the option of remaining logged in to the forum. It's such a hassle to have to continually log in. Or at least bump up the session timeout period. It is set way too low now. It seems that when I step away for a few minutes I come back and have to log in again.

I know we had an issue about that quite a while ago.
But, no complaints recently.

Have you done some checking on your end?
Clearing cookies, check browser settings, spyware, viruses, trojans, tried other browsers, etc?

If you have cookies enabled, and checked the box when you log in, you shouldn't need to keep logging in when you re-visit. Unless you clear your cookies daily of course.

Thanks pedstersplanet, you got me clued in on what the problem is. There are actually two places to log in. One place is at the top just under the dark blue menu bar and there is no checkbox there for the "automatic login". The second place to log in is further down the page in the content area and there is a checkbox there.

I logged in using the second login area and checked the checkbox so I should be all set now.

I don't know why the check-box is on only one place, should be on both login forms, unless of course iEntry chose to remove it from the front page.
