Hi,

I try to promote my website (www.sitebazaar.net). I posted here before a question how to improve my ranking for some keywords and I got good answers, which made me change my site.

But still for my main keywords I am not there with Google.

Now I am considering paying to a professional company to do it. I contact one of them and the cost is around 1000$ for six month.

They also sent me a free evaluation of my site, which you can see it here:

So my question is - is it worth to spend the money or still I can do things by myself?

Thanks,
Assaf

When doing nearly any job, hiring a professional is almost always the best way to go. When it comes to SEO, the trick is being able to tell the pro's from the hacks.

I have never heard of the company you mentioned, but that doesn't mean anything (I doubt I could name 4 reputable SEO firms). The fact that they provided you with that report with what they want to do to improve your positiong goes a long way. They seem to explain what they are going to do and how in simple terms. Making their report so public (knowing that their smarter clients are likely to get a second opinion) is evidence that they are reputable.

Their tactics all seem above board. Their pricing seems fair and even lower that what you might find elsewhere.

Maybe someone else will have had a personal experience with them or will notice something unsavory, but after a few minutes on their site, they sound like the real deal to me.

Added: A google search for pole position web sucks (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=pole+position+web+sucks&btnG=Search) doesn't return anything relevant...always a good sign.
