Automatically return to thread after posting

I'm so accustomed to this on other forums, and I noticed that WebProWorld doesn't have this feature..but it sure would be nice :)

I'd like to see a redirect back to the thread I posted in after my post has been submitted. Its nice to go and read back over what's been written, or add something. The redirect page could be something like 10 seconds, and could optionally include a link back to the main forum page if the member chooses to go that way instead.

Just something small that would be really nice to implement and save an extra step! :)

Apologies for not responding to your post before now! The automatic redirect after posting is definitely a good idea. I've seen it used on vBulletin boards and it works very nicely, as you say, a short delay would be a good idea, and a link to return directly to the thread if the user didn't want to pause! :o)

I do hope Brittany and the site designer are all writing these down! :o)

I personally like the option maybe this can be a user preference turn on turn off function

This feature is the default for phpbb...... WPW mustve changed it
