googlebot does not love me

Hey all,

Got a googlian question.

The googlebot loves some of pages, hits them everyday. However I have a few pages that it doesn't like to crawl. They are dynamic in nature however they are referenced by the following:

The following are (non-loved) links found within root_url/faq.html

root_url/faq.html/cid/1
root_url/faq.html/cid/2
root_url/faq.html/cid/3
and so on...

Maybe googlebot doesn't love the '.' or the repitition of 'cid' or the lack of an extension for '#'?


Please enlighten me with your suggestions.

If googlebot is visiting everyda,then you should test this.

If its not something, you will know the next day.

Take off the .html and find out, if thats not it, then try something else.

My best guess would be that that is the problem.

Googlebot might see the extension .html the end of the address since normally a whole address has nothing after that.

So remove that, and see what happens.
