Here is something that I thought that some of you running Windows might be interested in. Thought I'd repost this here in case you weren't aware of it. Very nifty little tool for your webdesign toolbox.
LAMPPIX, the Linux Live CD booting a webserver
http://lamppix.tinowagner.com/
LAMPPIX allows you to burn your web projects (i.e. PHP presentations or Perl scripts) onto a CD-ROM and give them away to others. They will only have to insert the CD and reboot -- if you configured LAMPPIX right (and this is really easy!) they can view your project.
This is a QUICK and easy way to temporarily install Apache/PHP/MySql to test websites, and excellent development tool for those running windows. Simply mounting your hard drive and copying the website data into the webserver directory, and copying a database if needed, gets you a very fast testbed for web development, if your not running linux already. Very interesting live linux cd.
