DESIGN CHALLENGE - Operation: Mullet Chop

WebProWorld Members,

We weren't planning on having another Design Contest so soon, but we just couldn't resist the chance to embarrass yet another iEntry staff member. This time, the victim is our beloved programmer, John (whom you might know here on WebProWorld as Nalex (http://www.webproworld.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3505)).

John needs your help. As you can see from the photo below, he's fallen victim to the most forgettable haircut ever: The Mullet!

Yes, the "business in the front/party in the back" look USED to be cool. People everywhere USED to tell their hair stylists to make their hair "short on top -- and let the back ROCK OUT!"

BUT that was back when it was fashionable to wear mis-matched socks and sideways ponytails, as well..

So, your task this time around: pretend you are John's hair stylist. Use your graphic design skills to come up with a NEW hair style for John.

Any style. Any color. Just have fun with it.

You will have one week from today to submit your entries. The winners will be voted on through a WebProWorld member poll.

And if you win? Well, it's a pretty silly contest, but we'll still be nice and feature your site on WebProWorld for a day, if you want. ;-)

The mullet still rocks all the others. Although the eminem cut above is nice.

BTW the mullet IS back in style don't go pretending you don't like it either... After the mullet is faded out again, watch out for rat-tails ... That's the all short cut with just the little tail of hair... It's really just a transition from mullet to clean cut. The mulletheads who couldnt go through with clean cutting all the way invented the rat-tail that way they can still have a remnant of how long their hair USED to be and they could tuck it under their shirt collar if they wanted :)

As a graphic designer with nothing better to do on a saturday night than play around with photo manipulation I have come up with three new designer looks for a funkier kind of john:

1/ The sleek firey saucy red head. Those wandering eyes can hide behind that sleek and sexy fringe. (An opposite to your previous style with long ontop and short at back):

2/ "Will you go to the prom with me?" Prom Queen john. Sorry I really must apologise I wasn't sure whether you were male or female from your previous mullet style, but as you can see it does suit quite well, you gorgeous thing you!

'ere, Can I have a makeover too?

I hate to admit it, but (gulp) I went down the mullet route in 1988. I was so ashamed of myself, I've not had my hair cut since, so, technicaly, I still have a mullet!!! I just tie it at the back of my head and forget it's there.

I'll stick a photo in the break room, when I find one I'm not ashamed of! ({;-P)
