We've done all the "right things" to optimize this site (http://www.accucounter.com) for searches on "shot counter" and it worked! Trouble is, we only made "page one" for 3 days and then disappeared from the radar altogether! What have we done wrong??? Any and all suggestions welcomed!

Hi there -
I used to freak out when this happened - then I read here that it was happening to everyone. From time to time, I believe when Google is updating its databases with the newly crawled information, sites move and/or disappear.
The good news is this: I searched just now and your site came up #2 on Google.
It's a very volatile system and, while it would be nice to be able to count on rankings, they do seem to experience "glitches" once every 5 weeks or so. Especially for newly added sites, once you're on both the "old" database as well as the new, you'll see it happens less and less. I sometimes use www.googlecheck.com to see that my sites are listed on all of Google's databases. (And it seems that your site is now on all of them.)
Good luck and have a great day.
