Firefox!?!?

I'm not sure where to post this so I placed it here.

I recently downloaded Firefox and installed but whenever I try to go to a site it says "The connection was refused when attempting to contact SITE URL". Apparently is a "Bug 246078".

I have searched all over through the Mozilla pages and help forums on how to correct this. I found one thing that was suggested but that was already OK.

I can access sites through all my other browsers. IE is still my default browser. I also have Opera and Netscape installed.

Any advice?

Just a thought...ZoneAlarm or some similar irritant?

Only thing I have is Norton Internet Security.
But how come I can still view sites using all my other browsers?

I'm not familiar with Nortons, as I use ZoneAlarm Pro, but I think what HardCoded is alluding to is maybe checking the permissions for Program Control? What has access to the internet.

Though, I have never known Firefox to have a problem with having to set permissions.

Yay! It's fixed! I re-installed Firefox and changed the Norton settings!
