I wasn't sure if this could be put into "poll" form. No, I'm not Santa Claus and I'm not writing a book. I'm just wondering what people want OR what they themselves are buying for other people. Let me know. This could be alot of fun and...don't lie.

Well not being Christian or celebrating Christmas I would like to walk through a mall without being bombarded with that annoying music. But I would like all my freinds that do celebrate Christmas to enjoy their holiday and remember that the true meaning of their holiday is one of giving and peace.

I'm begging Santa Claus for the new Adobe Creative Suite.

Just a small inexpensive request ;)

Can I expand on this theme. A local radio show where I live does this thing once a year for Christmas where people call in and they tell the listeners something they would like for christmas. For example I might call in and say I might say I need my windows fixed in my car becuase they wont roll down (not really they roll down its just an example) Well later during the show an auto mechanic might call in and say "Hey I can fix that guys windows." Thats his gift.

I hope I am explaining this right.

Anyway the gentleman that wanted the domain for christmas. What domain do you want? If its just registering a domain for you I will gladly give you that for Christmas. Also the hosting if you don't let the bandwiddth get out of control :)

I want to wake up to the sound of my children and thier children. Can't happen since one daughter & grandson are in Connecticut (and determined to spend Christmas in their new house) and the other daughter (& grandson)are in Oregon - BUT that is what I really want! So it will have to be enough to have the Oregon crew and my son and nephew.

And it would be great if Bush woke up and said Whoa there what was I thinking! We could use that 87 Billion to repair shools, health care, and roads (and ...well fill in the blanks!) HERE! Of course that probably won't happen EITHER

The point would be to ask for somethimg realistic, ;) A member might post: "Hey I could really use a new logo, but my graphic design skills are not the best. Thats what I want for Christmas"

Then some other member of the forum who happens to be good at graphics gives that person that "gift".

It doesnt nescessarily have to require money. Sometimes just time or perhaps something you have had sitting in the garage your spouse has been telling you to get rid of for months now. :)

Ok, Ok...I'm sure you all can't sleep at night, wondering what I want for Christmas...so I'll fess up. I want money, lots and lots of money...I want my pie in the sky (like the song says) and the reasons...
1) so my wife can quit her job
2) so I can sell my construction business and
3) we can just PLAIN bless people with whatever their needs are. Our eventual goal is to open a homeless shelter. Have a great Christmas everyone!!

Thank you Steven for sharing that idea, and putting it into practice.

It is a beautiful example of true generosity. Doing something nice for someone else with no intention of reward or repayment, just because you can.

I think it is a good idea to adopt here if we can!

Hi Think Steve should start a new post I'm willing to help to with things in reason as Steve said logos site layout nav bars things that we can do to help out.

I think it is a great idea and I'm sure a lot of members would like to help.

Did anyone ever see that movie 'Pay it Forward'? Similar to what Steven talks of. You do something good for 3 people, and ask that they pay it forward doing the same for 3 other people.

After I started to get so much great help off people here, I decided it would be nice to do similar. So if someone does something selfless for me, I pay that forward & do the same for some one else. When newbies put their sites up for review and they are really poor in the title, logo or graphics dept, or even page layout..I will send them something to help them by. It's a good feeling to have someone who got a bad review then get a good review because you have helped them. And in many cases it hasn't taken me long to do that good deed, and hasn't even been my best work. But it has been better than what they had originally.

So...excellent idea Janeth :-)
