I was thinking about optimization for Google AdSense today. When targeting high-targeted, yet contexual keywords for your content pages, is it best to list a variety of words, or just one single keyword. In other words, let's say you have a page about credit cards. And within your site, you have one page about debt relief. The question is, do you simply list the keyword debt relief, or do you add related keywords such as debt help, debt consolidation as well. I don't know if this even has any bearing on the performance of the ads, but I think it definitely could. Considering Google claims that their ads are targeted to the point where the more contexual(higher possibility of ROI) pay more per click. So bringing that all back together, if you had a page with one clear topic and keyword, the perceived ROI would be higher, and thus the cpc should be higher.
This is all speculation, but worth a shot. Any thoughts?
